Chief Executive Officer

Education and Experience -

1.  Master's degree in the health science field preferred.  A Bachelor's degree is required.

2.  Five (5) years of related work is preferred.  Two (2) years of work experience must be in an executive or administrative position.

Responsibilities -

The position of Chief Executive Officer will administer a comprehensive program of services for adults sixty (60) years of age and older.  Specifically, the position has responsibility for:

1.  Administering the policies and directives set by the Bay County Council on Aging, Inc. Board of Directors.

2.  Administering the overall planning, implementation and expansion of programs as established by the Board of Directors.

3.  Fiscal operation of the agency, including development and administration of budgets, fiscal accountability, and reports.

4.  Acting in conjunction with the Finance Committee and the Board of Directors in annual review of funding resources and contributions and implementing fund raising to meet the needs of the agency.

5.  Working with the Proposal Committee and the Board of Directors in the preparation of all funding applications.

6.  Work with other committees of the Board of Directors as requested.

7.  Supervise hiring, development, evaluation, and termination of staff.

8.  Coordinate with the agency supervisors on all volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision.

9.  Provide direct supervision to administrative personnel, and overall supervision of the Agency.

10. Monitor all subcontracts as required by funding sources.

This is a full time, 40 hours/week position.  Direct application and resume to the attention of the Selection Committee.

Meals on Wheels Coordinator

Responsibilities - 

1.  Complete assessments for the Home Delivered Meals Program to determine eligibility for receiving meals.

2.  Assure that homebound, senior adults who are unable to prepare their own meals receive nutritious meals each day.

3.  Assign volunteers to deliver meal routes.

4.  Complete required documentation, reporting and data entry.

Experience may be substituted for college requirements.  This is a full time, 40 hours/week position.
